Studio

XAPAaudio is a professional recording studio for all recording, mixing and mastering activities. The surroundings are quiet and harmonious with daylight and nice, lively acoustics, great microphones and other gear.

The studio: 42 m2 recording area, 9 m2 isolation booth and 18 m2 control room. There is a kitchen/relax room, bathroom and shower. All set in a large private garden.

Microphones: Gonzo Audio, Neumann, Shure, Sennheiser, AKG.
Instruments: Grand piano, Rhodes Mk I, Mesa, Fender, Kittyhawk and Lindee (see below) tube amplifiers.
Recording: Tascam 3200, Nuendo with UAD, Waves, URS, Lexicon and other plug-ins; analog gear: Chandler, Lexicon, Yamaha, Lafayette, etc.
Mastering: Wavelab
Monitors: KRK & van Zeeland

Engineer/producer/musician: Loek Schrievers, a lifetime in music!

Studio musicians: a choice of drummers, bass, keyboard, violin players, etc. are available for recordings. In press reviews XAPAaudio productions in which these players have been involved often are praised for their high level of musicianship and great interplay.

Location: The Netherlands, Gendt . between the cities of Nijmegen and Arnhem, near highways 12 and 15.
